Spherical Environment Map Sharing Topic
For GIMP 2.10, Dinaset's Globe View and GNUTux's Bevel Reflect Logo still work. More details here -> viewtopic.php?p=27785#p27785
Since there's a good topic at GimpChat: Environment Map Sharing Thread (Spherical) Bevel Reflect.
I thought I would start one here at GL.
On how to use these spherical emaps, see Bevel Reflect Logo for Beginners or Reflect Script for GIMP
Feel free to share your Spherical Emaps images in this topic.
If you do share, please include a sample result along with the Emap, so that people have a good idea/preview of what the result would look like for that Emap.
Thanks in advance!
On how to create these emaps, see (How to) Create a Spherical Emap from a Gradient for the Bevel Reflect Logo
I am not too experienced with them, but here's one i made out of screen capture of an image cloud. Sample result: I just used the Bevel Reflect Logo to visible layers script for GIMP after I fixed a bug for when a Spherical Emap Image is defined/selected.

This might sound strange,
but I took a photo in my bathroom and here's the resulting e-map I made using this photo.
The filter Polar Coordinates was used to get the sphere shaped e-map.

Thank you Tin, and Wallace. You have a great idea. Wallace, as usual, you e-maps are beautiful.

Why thank you so much Pat625!

I really had no idea, that this e-map would create anything like it did.
I was totally surprised at the outcome.

No 360 cam.
I just took the photo, using a cheap digital cam.
I scaled the photo perfectly square, added an alpha channel, then ran Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates and BAM!
I wasn't sure of how it was going to look, but it sure wasn't what I expected.
I actually wasn't expecting much out of it at all.
